What I can and can't do
As your Member of Parliament, I am able to help with issues in a variety of ways, but before you contact me you should know some of the key things i can't do.
How I can help:

I can ask the DWP for an updae on a Universal Credit or other benefit claim.

I can rasie concerns about delays, missing payments or how your case has been handled.

I can point you towards help with Scottish benefits, housing benefit or council tax support.
What I can't do

I can't decide whether you quality for a benefit or change an assessment result.

I can't overturn a decision made by the DWP or Social Security Scotland. If you disagree with a decision, you may need to request a reconsideration or appeal.
