Please note that I cannot change the waiting list for housing, nor can I force a housing association to prioritise your case. If you have urgent repairs, please contact your housing officer in the first instance.
What I can and can't do
As your Member of Parliament, I am able to help with issues in a variety of ways, but before you contact me you should know some of the key things i can't do.
How I can help:

I can raise concerns with your council or housing association about delays, repairs or how your case has been handled.

I can ask for an update if you have already made a housing or homelessness application.

I can point you towards specialist advice about your housing rights and options.
What I can't do

I cannot move you up a housing waiting list or allocate you a home.

I cannot provide emergency accommodation or override a council's housing decision.

I cannot resolve a private dispute with a landlord or neighbour on your behalf.
