Need help with local government and public services?
Please note the work of South Ayrshire Council and North Ayrshire Council is not within my remit and engagement with local councillors and officers should have already taken place. If you have not received a response, or are not happy with it, I can advocate for you.
What I can and can't do
As your Member of Parliament, I am able to help with issues in a variety of ways, but before you contact me you should know some of the key things i can't do.
How I can help:

Help with issues involving local council services, such as waste collection, planning permissions, and road maintenance.

Support in dealing with public utilities, transport, and policing concerns.

Speak directly with local councillors to help support you with your issue.
What I can't do

I can't change planning or licencing decisions - these are decided by quasi judicial committees in the local authorities.

I can't instruct public or private firms to do the work of the council without engagement with councillors and officers.
